    Mr. Young Bang was appointed as the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics & Technology) on 8 March 2022. As the Principal Deputy, Mr. Bang advises the Assistant Secretary for Acquisition, Logistics & Technology and Army leadership on all matters relating to Army acquisition. Prior to joining ASA(ALT), Mr. Bang served at the C Suite or EVP level at multiple large and mid size companies leading P&L, building business and growth and product development across services and product companies. He has broad experience in M&A on both buy and sell side and has used his broad knowledge of addressable markets to guide the growth in existing, adjacent and new markets/capabilities. His extensive experience spans commercial and federal consulting covering technology, healthcare, telecom and strategy. From a technology perspective, he has deep expertise in Cutting Edge Technology (Quantum, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, AR/VR/MR/XR etc.) and Digital Transformation (Modern Software Development, Big Data, Cloud, IoT) to drive growth across multiple markets from Army, Navy, Air Force, Joint, Intelligence, Health (Federal and Commercial), DHS, DoJ, DoT and DoS. Mr. Bang has worked in product development in hardware and software, cyber, data and AI as well as startups during the dotcom period. Prior to that Mr. Bang served in the Army in various leadership positions across Ft Bragg, Korea and Aberdeen Proving Grounds.

    Deputy Commanding General, Army Futures Command

    LTG Ross Coffman was commissioned by the University of Kentucky’s ROTC program as a lieutenant in the Armor branch following his graduation from Centre College (Danville, KY) in 1989. During his more than 30 year career he has served at the tactical, operational and strategic levels in the United States and overseas. Before being selected as the deputy commanding general of the U.S. Army Futures Command, LTG Coffman was the director of the Next Generation Combat Vehicles Cross Functional Team, one of eight new Army units responsible for closing capability gaps in the Army’s top transformation priorities. LTG Coffman also served in Eastern Europe as the deputy commanding general for maneuver in the 1st Infantry Division, a storied Army formation known as “The Big Red One.” He is proud to have served throughout his career in superior units that were awarded the Presidential Unit Citation, the Valorous Unit Award, the Joint Meritorious Unit Citation, the Meritorious Unit Citation, and the Superior Unit Award. He has led Army efforts in Saudi Arabia, Bosnia, Europe, Haiti, Kuwait, Iraq, and the U.S. LTG Coffman’s civilian education includes a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Government from Centre College, an MBA from Embry Riddle University, and a graduate fellowship at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.

    Major General Johnny K. Davis assumed command of the United States Army Recruiting Command (USAREC) and Fort Knox in 2022. As the Commanding General of USAREC, Major General Davis oversees 8 Brigades consisting of 44 Battalions, 256 Companies, and 1385 stations across the United States, Japan, South Korea, Italy, and Guam. He is responsible for providing the strength for America’s Army. MG Davis is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was commissioned through the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) program at New Mexico Military Institute. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Master of Science in Leadership Development, and a Master of Science in National Security and Strategic Studies. Throughout his 33 years in the United States Army, MG Davis has served in a variety of positions, to include Operational Commands, Office of Secretary of Defense, the Joint Staff, and the Army Staff. He has deployed in support of Operation Viligant Warrior, Operation Uphold Democracy, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation New Dawn. MG Davis’ awards and decorations include the Army Distinguished Service Medal, Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal for Valor, Iraq Campaign Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, and Valorous Unit Award.

During her 30-year career, Doree has advised clients in the aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, and government and public sectors. Prior to her current role, Doree was the EY U.S. East Region Strategy and Transactions (Sal) Managing Partner, leading a $2B cross-functional consulting practice responsible for helping clients modernize their ecosystems, reshape their portfolios, and reinvent their organizations for the future. Doree has served as the Sal Market Segment Leader for the Government and Public Sector practice and was one of the founders of EY's Business Relationship and Economic Threat Analysis (BRET A) Solution. BRET A is EY's multi-dimensional, ecosystem-based threat detection and identification solution that enables the U.S. Government to understand and prepare for the potential impacts of global business on the Defense Industrial Base and emerging technologies. Doree founded EY's Cyber Due Diligence solution for which EY is recognized as the leading provider in the U.S. market. She has led more than 200 merger, acquisition, and divestitures supporting buyers and sellers in financial and cyber due diligence and transaction management. Doree has been a frequent speaker and panelist at industry related mergers and acquisition events and has published articles and web presentations on cyber diligence in mergers and acquisitions.

    Jim Menard is a Partner at Ernst & Young LLP (EY) focused on Consulting Services with over 27 years of experience working with US Federal Government customers. Mr. Menard started his career as a technology developer, tester and deployment specialist. After a decade of this work, Mr. Menard moved into a variety of technology leadership and client account lead positions with focus on solving business challenges through enterprise technology transformation. Mr. Menard currently serves as the EY Army Technology Account Lead. In this role, Jim has responsibility for all EY technology programs with the Army customer – to include application development, data and analytics, artificial intelligence, automation, cloud migration and management, and cyber solution implementations. Prior to his Army Account leadership role, Mr. Menard spent over 4 years leading the EY Government and Public Sector Technology Consulting (TC) Practice. Before EY, Mr. Menard spent over 20 years with Accenture, with his final role as Managing Director, Accenture Federal Services (AFS) Technology Optimization Practice. In this role, Jim led AFS implementation of cloud services, infrastructure and application modernization, and data analytics capabilities across the US Federal market. Jim brings significant experience in client account leadership roles with both U.S. Department of Defense and Civilian agencies and as a presenter and panelist at numerous industry events and symposiums. Outside of work, Mr. Menard serves on the board of the National Capital Area Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association having previously served in both the board chair and vice chair roles. Jim lives in Arlington, VA with his wife and three children.
